Let’s meet Jake:

 

 A native of Richmond, Virginia, Jake Crocker spent his early career gaining experience working in corporate marketing departments and some of the region’s most highly regarded ad agencies and marketing firms. Most notably during his stint as a partner with Martin Branding Worldwide. 

 

It is this experience while working with some of the brightest minds and established leaders in the business where he honed his skills to help clients succeed in almost every conceivable line of business. He did this by consistently applying tried and true techniques with the most innovative practices and thinking. 

An entrepreneur at heart, Jake applied his skills to a variety of his own businesses, including several award winning restaurants in his hometown of Richmond. Most famously, long time local staples F.W. Sullivan’s and Lady N’awlins. These efforts led him to be him being voted one of the area’s best entrepreneurs by the readers of Richmond Magazine.

More recently Crocker has additionally taken on the role of Executive Director of the Virginia National Guard Management Group. This position allows him to support Virginia’s citizen soldiers through the group’s oversite of the Virginia National Guard’s associations and foundations.

 

His focus these days as our world navigates the post-pandemic era, is to assist businesses and organizations in succeeding in an ever-changing and fluid economic environment. Through his broad businesses consulting offerings to his recent affiliation with financial technology powerhouse Global Payments and its small to mid-sized business focused subsidiary, Heartland, Jake has a variety of tools essential to your success. 

 

Crocker is a proud graduate of Radford University, where his recently served as thee chair of its College of Behavioral Sciences and Humanities advisory board. He also holds with an MBA from Virginia Tach’s Pamplin College of Business.  

 

He has had the honor to preside over and serve on the boards of many professional, cultural, educational, and civic organizations in Richmond over the years and was named to the area’s Top 40 Under 40 list by Style Weekly. He is also been a frequent go to interview for local media for his real-world business insights as well as a speaker and moderator for many organizations and conferences. In addition he has been invited to guest lecture at several universities over the years. 

 

Jake lives in Richmond’s Historic Fan District, where he is an ardent advocate of the city’s cultural, civic, and business communities, with his amazing wife and beloved dog and cat. An occasional actor, he's appeared in several major network TV series. He enjoys traveling, loves history and always wants to see as much live music and try as many different restaurants as humanly possible.
